Do insights or weekly reports cost tokens?

Viewing your insights does not cost tokens, and weekly reports are free as well. They are generated at no token cost to you, so you can keep them on without worrying about usage.
The one exception
The one reporting feature that does use tokens is the Insights AI chat, because each question runs Mark's AI to analyze your data and answer in words. Regular charts, breakdowns, and the weekly report itself do not use any.
Where to check
If you ever want to confirm what is consuming tokens, open Plan & Billing and look at the Token Usage view, which breaks usage down by source. Reporting will not show up there unless you have been using the Insights AI chat.
