Does Mark act on its own, or confirm first?

If you give Mark a clear instruction, it just does it. Telling Mark "create a lead campaign at 20 a day" or "change the budget on my summer ad set from 15 to 25" is the confirmation, so it won't ask you to approve the same thing twice.

When Mark does check with you

Mark asks first when the request is not clear enough to act on, for example if you are still deciding, if key details are missing, or if you ask it what it would recommend. In that case it will suggest a plan and wait for you to say go.

What actually keeps you safe

The safety net is not an approval popup, it is the paused default. Everything Mark creates - campaigns, ad sets, and ads - is created switched off. Nothing reaches a single person and nothing spends until you turn it on, either from the created objects panel in the chat or from Manage Ads.

That means even a change you did not expect cannot cost you money on its own. You review it, then decide whether to switch it on.
