How does Mark choose my audience and budget?
Updated Jul 5, 20261 min read
Mark does not guess in a vacuum. When it proposes an audience and budget, it draws on several sources to make a sensible recommendation.
What Mark considers
- Your business profile. Offers, ideal customer, markets, and unit economics from Business Info.
- Your goal. What you asked for in chat, and the campaign objective that fits it.
- Your existing assets. Any audience, pixel, or catalog you have pinned to the chat.
- Research. Mark can look up market context for your niche when it helps.
You stay in charge
Mark suggests a starting point and explains its reasoning, but nothing is locked in. You can adjust the audience or budget, and Mark applies changes only after you approve. Think of its suggestion as an informed first draft, not a final decision.
Make it better
The more complete your Business Info, the sharper these suggestions become. If Mark's audience or budget feels off, the fastest fix is usually to add detail to your profile or pin a specific audience.
