Why don't my numbers match Meta Ads Manager exactly?

Small differences between Mark and Meta Ads Manager are normal, and they usually come down to timing and settings rather than an error.

Common reasons

  • Refresh timing. Mark pulls data on a schedule, so it may be minutes or hours behind a live Ads Manager view.
  • Attribution windows. Recent results keep updating as Meta finalizes them, so a number you saw earlier can shift.
  • Time zone and date range. If the day boundaries or time zones differ between the two, the totals will differ too.

When to look closer

For settled periods, meaning a few days old, the numbers should line up closely. If you see a large, persistent gap, refresh your insights and double-check that you are comparing the same account, the same dates, and the same metrics. Comparing slightly different views is the most common cause of a mismatch.
