What date ranges and breakdowns can I use?

Insights let you focus on exactly the slice you care about, by time and by object.

By time

Use the period picker for this week, this month, or a custom range. Choosing the right window matters. A single day can be noisy, while a week or a month gives a steadier read on performance.

By object and breakdown

  • Breakdowns split performance by campaign, ad set, or creative, so you can see what is driving your results.
  • The object selector lets you zoom into a single campaign or ad set.
  • Comparison puts two objects side by side to see which one wins.

Putting it together

Pair a breakdown with a date range to answer specific questions, such as "which creative performed best this month?" If you would rather not set it up manually, just ask the Insights AI and it will do the slicing for you and explain the result.
