Give Mark context: pin resources

Updated Jul 5, 20261 min read

Mark works best when it knows exactly which of your Meta assets to use. Pinning attaches a specific resource to the current chat, so Mark reuses it instead of guessing or asking again.

What you can pin

From inside a chat, open the resource dialogs to pin:

  • an Audience or a saved targeting preset, so ads reach the right people,
  • a Pixel, so conversions are tracked on your website,
  • a Page and account, so ads run from the right identity,
  • a Lead form, for lead generation campaigns,
  • a Product catalog, for e-commerce and catalog ads.

Using pinned resources

Once something is pinned, just ask. For example, "build an ad set for this audience and pixel." Mark uses exactly what you pinned. Anything Mark creates appears in the created-objects panel, so you can track it and jump to it later.

Pins are per chat

Pinned resources belong to the chat you are in. When you start a different project, open a fresh chat and pin that project's assets. This keeps each conversation focused and prevents assets from bleeding across projects.

If Mark ever seems unsure which audience or Page to use, that is usually a sign to pin one. It removes the guesswork instantly.
