Create your first campaign

Updated Jul 5, 20261 min read

With your Meta account connected, you can build a full campaign just by describing your goal in Chat with Mark. You do not need to know Meta's terminology or click through Ads Manager. Mark asks a few questions, then assembles the campaign, ad set, and ad for you.

Describe what you want

Open a chat and say what you are trying to do in your own words. For example: "promote my summer sale to people near my store, about 15 a day." The more context you give, the better the result, so mention things like your budget, who you want to reach, and where clicks should go.

Mark will ask about anything it still needs. If you have filled in your Business Info, it already knows your offers and ideal customer, so it can suggest a sensible objective, audience, and budget for you.

Review everything before you launch

Mark builds the campaign, ad set, and ad all in a paused state, then shows you a summary. Nothing spends at this point. Take a moment to check:

  1. The objective (what the campaign is optimizing for).
  2. The budget and schedule.
  3. The audience the ad set targets.
  4. The creative, meaning the image or video and the text people will see.

Turn it live

When it all looks right, open Manage Ads and turn the campaign on. Meta then reviews the ad, usually within 24 hours, before it starts delivering.

A live campaign can start spending as soon as Meta approves it. Double-check the daily budget before you turn anything on.
