Connect your Meta ad account
Mark works on top of your own Meta ad account. Connecting is the first thing to do, it takes about a minute, and it lets Mark create campaigns, ad sets, and ads on your behalf. Everything Mark builds starts paused, so nothing spends until you approve it.
Before you start
Make sure you have two things ready:
- A Facebook account that has admin access to the Meta ad account you want to use. Admin access is what lets Mark manage campaigns, use your Pages, and read performance data.
- A Meta ad account that already exists. Mark manages an existing account, it does not create a new one for you.
If you are not sure whether you have admin access, you can check your role in Meta Business settings, or ask whoever owns the business assets to add you as an admin.
Connect in a few clicks
- Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
- Click Connect with Facebook and log in.
- Approve the permissions Mark requests. These cover ad management, your Pages, and business data such as audiences and pixels.
- Back in Mark, choose the ad account you want to work with. If you manage several, you can switch between them later.
Once connected, you will see the account marked as connected, and you are ready to build your first campaign.
Always log in with the Facebook profile that has admin access to the ad account. If you use a profile without the right role, the connection will succeed but Mark will be missing the permissions it needs, and some actions will fail.
Connecting your Meta account during the trial has a bonus: it extends your free trial from 7 days to 10 days.
