When you want to go deeper than the overview, Advanced Insights lets you slice the data and compare, so you can find out not just how things are going, but why.

What you can do

  • Break down performance by campaign, ad set, or creative, to see which piece is driving results.
  • Compare two campaigns or ad sets side by side.
  • See trends over time, to spot what is improving and what is slipping.
  • Read the KPI strip for your headline metrics at a glance.

Find what's working

Use the object selector and the period picker to focus on a specific campaign and timeframe, then compare it against another. This is how you find your best creative and your best audience, and shift budget toward them. Small, data-backed moves like this add up over time.

Turn insight into action

Once you spot a winner, act on it. You can jump into chat and ask Mark to raise the budget on your top performer, or pause an ad set that is dragging the average down.

Comparing two ad sets that differ in just one way, such as audience, is the cleanest way to learn what actually moves your results.
